| Black Walnut Taffy Recipe |

Ingredients
2 cup sugar
1 cup molasses
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup chopped black walnuts
1 tablespoon margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1/4 teaspoon salt
Cooking Directions:
Boil sugar, molasses, milk, water, margarine, and salt to hard ball stage (265-270F.). Add vanilla flavoring. Spread nuts over the bottom of a well-buttered pan. Pour taffy over nuts. Cool. Pull until stiff and creamy. Cut in one-inch pieces.
