Sweet And Sour Spareribs #3 Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 lb meaty pork spareribs
3 tablespoon lemon juice
1 jar (small) strained apricots
1 1/2 teaspoon molasses
1 1/2 teaspoon dark corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 dash tabasco sauce
1/4 cup chili sauce
1 clove (small) garlic; crushed
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 salt & pepper
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar



Cooking Directions:

Sprinkle ribs with salt & pepper. Broil for 5 minutes per side. Place in a large baking dish.

Prepare the sauce by mixing all the remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Heat on medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Lower oven heat to 350F. Pour half the sauce over the ribs and bake uncovered for half an hour. Pour the remaining sauce over spareribs and continue to bake for another half hour. Serve hot.
