| Springtime Garden Pilaf Recipe |

Ingredients
2 3/4 cup water
1/4 cup margarine
2 tablespoon instant chicken bouillon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 1/4 cup uncooked long grain rice
1/2 cup carrots; finely chopped
1/2 cup slivered almonds; toasted
1/4 cup fresh parsley; chopped
2 tablespoon green onion; sliced
Cooking Directions:
In a saucepan bring water, margarine, boillon, salt, pepper and garlic to a full boil.
Add rice and carrots; return to a full boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer till rice is tender (25 - 30 minutes).
Stir in remaining ingredients.
