| Savory Cheeseburgers Recipe |

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 cup cheerios cereal; crushed
2 tablespoon onion; chopped
2 tablespoon green bell pepper; chopped
2 tablespoon chili sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon mccormick/schilling black pepper
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
6 slice processed american cheese
6 hamburger buns; buttered & toasted
Cooking Directions:
Mix all ingredients except cheese and buns. Shape mixture into six 3-inch patties. Set oven control to broil and/or 550 degrees. Broil patties with tops 4 to 5 inches from heat 5 minutes on each side. Top each patty with cheese slice. Broil until cheese melts, about 2 minutes. Serve on buns. Makes 6 sandwiches.
