Sausage Cheese Balls Recipe
Category: Cheese
Rating: N/A
Servings: 1

Ingredients

2 lb hot and spicy bulk sausage
6 cup bisquick
2 lb grated cheddar or longhorn
1 cheese
1 water

Cooking Directions:

Unless you have a strong mixer with a dough hook, you will have to mix this with your hands. Mix all ingredients except water together until well mixed. At this point, the mixture will look like it will never work. Start adding water, 1/4 cup at a time until the mixture combines and gets sticky and holds together well. The amount of water needed will depend upon the brand of sausage used and the cheese. Shape this resulting sticky dough in to walnut sized balls, and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet or jelly roll plan at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. The jelly roll pan is safer, since the amount of fat running off can be great if the sausage has a high fat content. Check after 10 minutes, and if the pan has fat in it, our it off. Serve warm
