Ingredients

2 lb beef stew meat -- cut up
16 oz sour cream
1 cup red wine
1 lb mushrooms
1 (you can cheat and use
1 canned)
1 pkg lipton brand dry soup mix
1 can campbells brand mushroom
1 soup
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash louisiana hot sauce --
1 (optional)
1 salt and pepper



Cooking Directions:

Mix all ingrediants, cover tightly, bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. Don't peek! Serve hot over noodles. (A Cajun friend who went only by his first name which I have translated into polite language taught me this when I was quite young. I found in later years that people outside Louisiana refer to this dish as Beef Stroganoff...) Posted by SSpahn.
