| Mushroom Pita Pizzas Recipe |

Ingredients
2 pita; (6 inch) breads
1 can (4 oz.) mushroom pieces; drained
1 small red onion; thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 cup finely shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
Cooking Directions:
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Split each pita bread around edges with knife to make 4 rounds. Place rounds cut side up, on ungreased cookie sheets. Arrange mushrooms on rounds. Top with onion and pepper. Sprinkle with cheeses. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut each round into 8 wedges. 8 servings. Posted to recipelu-digest by "Diane Geary" on Feb 24, 1998
