Ingredients
5 fresh mint leaves
1 teaspoon simple syrup (3 parts sugar to 1 pa; rt boiling water)
1 finely crushed ice
1 3/4 oz bourbon
1 powdered sugar
Cooking Directions:
Place mint leaves in julep glass. Add simple syrup and crush leaves. Fill glass with crushed ice. Add bourbon; stir. Decorate with powdered sugar and additional mint leaves.
