Maple Custard Recipe
Category: Desserts
Rating: N/A
Servings: 4

Ingredients

3 eggs; beaten
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 cup milk
1 dash salt

Cooking Directions:

Phil Donahue invited Willard Scott and me to do a show with him on cooking sweet things. I offered this one to Willard and he was delighted. And yes, Willard Scott is as charming a gentleman as you suspect.

This is quick and easy, and always a hit.

Mix all ingredients. Pour into individual molds such as small custard dishes or very small souffl‚ cups. Set molds in a pan of hot water and bake, uncovered, at 350ø for 40 minutes or until the blade of a table knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm or chilled.
