| Barbecue Sauce #17 Recipe |

Ingredients
2 medium onions finely chopped
1 clove garlic; finely chopped
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoon chili powder
2 cup catsup
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup worstershire sauce
1/3 cup finely packed brown sugar
2 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon crushed celery seed
2 teaspoon crushed cumin seed
2 tablespoon butter or margarine
Cooking Directions:
Saute onions and garlic in vegetable oil 'til golden and tender (about 10 minutes). Stir in the chili powder, cook one minute. Stir in remaining ingredients (except butter). Bring to boil. Lower heat, simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring often. Stir in butter. Makes about 4 1/2 cups. Keeps covered in fridge for months.
