1 small to medium sized pumpkin -or-
1 can (large) pumpkin
1 (you will need about 1-1/2 cups of; pumpkin)
2 1/2 cup cake flour
2 teaspoon ginger (not more; it will overpower)
4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup egg substitute (equivalent to 2 egg; s)
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
