Ingredients

1/3 cup olive oil
1 1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic; minced
2 cup tomato sauce
1 teaspoon basil
1 1/2 cup water
2 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
----CANOLES----
1 1/2 lb italian sausage; browned
1 lb mozzarella cheese; cubed
1 pizza dough (frozen bread dough)



Cooking Directions:

Saute onion and garlic in oil. Pour rest of ingredients in together. Add water; bring to a boil and simmer 2 hours.

Flatten out balls of thawed bread dough; fill with meat and cubed cheese. Seal edges; bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with Italian sauce.
