Honey-Grilled Tenderloins Recipe
Category: Other / Ham
Rating: N/A
Servings: 6

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb pork tenderloin
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon ginger
5 garlic cloves; chopped
2 tablespoon brown sugar
3 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 cooking spray

Cooking Directions:

Trim the fat from tenderloins. Butterfly by making a lengthwise cut, cutting to within 1/4 inch of other side. Place in a shallow pan or zip-top bag. Combine soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Pour over tenderloin. Cover or seal; refrigerate at least 3 hours turning occasionally. Remove tenderloin and discard marinade.

Combine brown sugar, honey, and oil in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Coat grill rack with cooking spray. Grill over low to medium heat 10-15 minutes a side or until a meat thermometer registers 160. Baste frequently with honey mixture.

NOTES : If it's too cold to grill outside, preheat oven to 350 and bake. This only takes 20-30 minutes to cook and you don't want it overdone! Baste frequently while cooking. Recipe by: Southern Living via Nancy Gerard
