Ingredients

4 med onions; peeled and quart
1/4 cup chopped mushrooms
3 tomatoes; peeled seeded chop
1 clove garlic; mashed through
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 tablespoon minced celery leaves
1/4 cup defatted chicken or vegetabl



Cooking Directions:

Toss all of the ingredients into a round, medium sized casserole dish and combine well. Cover and microwave on full power until the onions are just tender, about 5 minutes. Let the onions stand for 3 minutes before lifting the cover nd serving. The onions are even tastier when reheated and eaten the second day. Great as a side dish to turkey or roast pork.
