Ingredients
1 quart shelled butter beans
1 quart water
1/2 lb uncooked country ham
Cooking Directions:
Wash beans; place in pot with 1 quart water. Bring water to boil; reduce heat to low and cook about 1 hour until done. Add salt if needed. Place ham in unsalted water and simmer at least 1 hour before adding butter beans. Posted to recipelu-digest by "Diane Geary" on Feb 27, 1998
