| Flank Steak In Garlic Pitas Recipe |

Ingredients
2 beef flank steaks(2 lbs.ea)
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon grated gingerroot
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 can or bottle (12 oz.) beer
1 garlic pitas:
1/3 cup margarine or butter
2 cloves garlic, crushed
10 pita breads (6in diameter)
Cooking Directions:
Trim fat from beef steaks. Cut both sides of beef in diamond pattern 1/8 inch deep. Place in shallow glass dish. Mix remaining ingredients except Garlic Pitas; pour over beef. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours but no longer than 24 hours, turning occasionally.
Remove beef from marinade; reserve marinade. Cover and grill beef 6 inches from medium coals about 12 minutes for medium doneness, turning after 6 minutes and brushing frequently with marinade. Discard any remaining marinade. Cut beef diagonally into thin slices; serve on Garlic Pitas.
