Ingredients
2 cup sifted flour (sift before measuring; )
3 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 egg
1/4 cup melted butter or salad oil
1 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped dried figs
1 orange; fresh grated rind of
Cooking Directions:
Preheat over to 410øF, prepare pans. Sift flour again with sugar, baking powder & salt into bowl. Beat egg with butter & stir in milk. Add dry mix to wet mix until just combined. Spoon into pans & bake for about 25 mins or until well browned. Makes 10 muffins.
