| Baked Apples With Creamy Topping Recipe |

Ingredients
6 medium baking apples -- cored and
1 peeled half way down from
1 stem end
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup water
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup buttermilk
Cooking Directions:
Place apples in greased shallow baking dish. Mix together nuts,sugar and cinnamon and fill centers of apples. Drizzel syrup over apples, add water to dish. Bake at 425 for 25-30 minutes. Cool on a rack, basting occasionally with pan juices. Cover and chill. Beat together sour cream and butter milk until well blended. Spoon over baked apples.
