Ingredients
2 can (16-18 oz) pork & beans
1 packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 lb salt pork; cut in strips
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup chopped green onions; with some tops
Cooking Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients & pour into a 2- to 3-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, 2 to 2-1/2 hours or until sauce is thick & beans are dark & crusty on top. If time is short, you may decrease cooking time to 1 hour, but the beans will not be as tasty. Makes 8 servings.
