Chuck Steak With Deviled Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 lb chuck steak; 1 1/2 thick
1 olive oil
1/4 cup scallions; finely chopped
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup catsup
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon pepper; freshly ground



Cooking Directions:

Place the steak in a dish and puncture with a fork in several places, then drizzle with the olive oil. In a small saucepan, combine 2 tb olive oil, the scallions, soy sauce, catsup, mustard, and pepper. Heat until well blend and it is just starting to boil. Meanwhile, grill the steak, 2 to 3 inches above hot coals, until browned on both sides, About 30 minutes for Medium-rare. Place the steak on a serving platter and carve across the grain in 1/4-inch slices. Serve 2 to 3 slices per person, with the sauce on the side.
