Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup choc. chips
1/2 cup broken pecans
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped marachino cherries
1 icing:
1 cup powder sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 tablespoon marachino cherry juice
Cooking Directions:
Beat butter, sugar and shortening until fluffy.Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingrdients and blend in.Dough will be stiff. blend in chocolate, nuts and fruits. Press into a grease 10 x 15 x 1 pan. bake 350 for 20 minutes or done. Cool to warm and spread on icing. Cut when warm and recut when cool.
